Then again, how on earth can you truly measure such a thing? I do not think you can. Let everyone read and make the world a library (I sound like a BookCrossing slogan now!).Mainframeguyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12454637101257936425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1029772123863306953.post-56029625027919822452008-11-06T07:29:00.000-07:002008-11-06T07:29:00.000-07:00Charlotte: Sounds like writing in Spartanburg is a...Charlotte: Sounds like writing in Spartanburg is an export business!

Holly: I'm also a big library fan.Mark David Gersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06235005264532240677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1029772123863306953.post-83223690574058720862008-11-06T07:04:00.000-07:002008-11-06T07:04:00.000-07:00Even the least literate places can have amazing li...Even the least literate places can have amazing libraries...case in point, Nashville TN. It publishes about Spartanburg. There used to be an independent bookstore here, but now everyone goes to B&N to hang out.

Yet you can hardly turn over a rock without finding a writer. Readers, on the other hand, are much more scarce.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1029772123863306953.post-78357056269799236732008-10-24T08:40:00.000-06:002008-10-24T08:40:00.000-06:00I couldn't agree more. I think the bookstores are a great help as well. When you're a writer it's constant motivation when you see your goal on every corner.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
